Cabinet in 2013, plans to GDP growth of about 3%, says Azarov
Government of Ukraine in 2013 plans to increase gross domestic product (GDP) of about 3%.
According to the press service of the government, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a meeting with Vice President of Foreign Policy of the European Parliament, a member of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats LIBOR Rouchekom. "Mykola Azarov said that the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a program of the economy and is planning to reach a GDP growth of about three percent," - said the press service of the government. As UNIAN reported earlier, the growth of real GDP in Ukraine, provided that the Program intensification of economic development for 2013-2014, will be in 2013 2,5-3,4%. According to the state budget for the current year, nominal GDP in 2013 should be 1.576 trillion USD, GDP growth - 3.4%. However, experts are predicting zero growth in GDP or above 1.5%. International audit company "Ernst & Young" lowered the forecast growth in gross domestic product (GDP) of Ukraine in 2013 to 1.1%, the World Bank - to 1%, the EBRD predicts GDP drop by 0.5%.
