Cabinet intends to intensify job creation in rural areas

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stressed the need to intensify job creation in rural areas.

As UNIAN reported in the Department of Information and Communication of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Prime Minister said this while visiting family type homes in the village Lychanka in the Kiev region.

"We need to do everything to make people less traveled to work in big cities, and were able to find work in the field. Development of production on the ground - this is our most important job. We need to create new production: let small - 20-30 seats, but it will allow rural residents to work closer to home, "- said Azarov.

He stressed that the vast majority of rural residents are, for example, in the capital and there pay income tax.

"Every day to Kyiv gets more than 400 thousand of those close to settlements. People work in Kiev and in the same pay income tax. And as we develop small towns? In Kiev are large companies, "Naftogaz", "UZ", banks and others. And all businesses pay income tax in the capital. And where they work - drill hole, build nuclear power plants? In the regions. As part of the income tax should go in the region ", - said Mykola Azarov.
