Quarterly Workshop on Macroeconomic Forecasting



4 квітня відбудеться черговий  квартальний семінар з макроекономічного прогнозування.

April 4 will be the next quarterly seminar on macroeconomic forecasting.

The seminar, which invited experts from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, NBU, other government agencies and departments, non-governmental research organizations, international financial institutions includes discussion of economic issues in order to improve the quality of macroeconomic forecasts and information exchange between major forecasting organizations.

During the event, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade invited to discuss the following questions:

1. Possible scenarios in the foreign exchange market in 2013 and their impact on the economy;
2. Requirement of modernity: the market or the state of the economy?
3. Primary economic activities


Ministry of Economic Development and Trade done to correct the specified list in case of your interest and your ability to make a presentation.

Also during the event will be presented the consensus forecast, the drafting of which involved the Federation of Employers of Ukraine. For its preparation should fill probability of risks, assumptions and risks of macroeconomic forecasts, macroeconomic forecasts for the years 2012-2015 (attached).

The seminar is conducted with the assistance of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under the project "Accelerating progress towards the Millennium Development Goals in Ukraine."
